About Us

CATHERINE FAGIOLO is founding artistic director of the Choral Studio and previously of Three Rivers Chorale. Her Fair Oaks private studio includes piano and voice students of all ages. She has been voice faculty at American River College and has also served on faculty at Folsom Lake College, Cosumnes River College, and the University of Oklahoma.

Catherine has served as a church musician, soloist, secondary and college music teacher, choral adjudicator, and accompanist in northern California. She was cantor and musical associate at Sacred Heart Church, singing also with Sacred Heart's Schola Cantorum in liturgies, performances, recordings, and concert tours. She holds degrees from Brown University and the University of Oklahoma.

The Choral Studio is an auditioned, volunteer ensemble of singers presenting programs of distinction and musical artistry in the greater Sacramento region since 2008. Fostering a tradition of performance excellence, the ensemble unites singers with outstanding examples of the choral art in a rigorous but fun and enriching musical community.

 The Choral Studio delivers artistic and educational programs of choral music for our community. Our members and volunteers devote time, musicianship and commitment to achieve ambitious programs. We promote a wide range of collaborative music for voices.
